Saran/Katsilk - strands have a greasy feel, slightly finer hair than Kanekalon.
Nylon - no where near as oily as Saran/Katsilk, deals well with moderate heat.
Polypropelene - same as nylon with similar heat properties. Both can be boil permed.
Kanekalon - often used in human wigs & hair pieces. Handles heat well. Strands slightly thicker than others.
